Maximize productivity through real-time monitoring of production and artificial lift applications. In addition to installing pump off controllers for beam units and plunger lift controllers, CEC Energy Consultants can enable you to not only monitor your wells remotely to know when a well is off production or producing at a lower rate than the previous day, but also to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of your artificial lift installations anywhere in the world. Through its relationships with satellite and cellular providers, electronic control system providers, and field optimization software providers, CEC Energy Consultants can take the complexity out of remote real-time monitoring and optimization of your production facilities. We can also provide interfacing of the incoming field data to be seamlessly imported into any reserve, production and accounting systems or software products. ![]() What would it be like for you to be able to monitor, control and analyze data collected from all beam pumping wells to provide a detailed downhole analysis to allow the user to adjust the pumping system to optimal performance levels while reducing pump damage from fluid pound, sanding, asphaltene, and paraffin buildup? With our system designs, you can also perform rod stress and gear box torque calculations as well as beam load and fluid level calculations. Fluid levels can be calculated with surprising accuracy, eliminating the time and expense required for regular shooting of fluid levels. Users can identify problems in real-time, such as worn pumps, by running calculations overnight and presenting the user with problem wells to be looked at further. The downhole analysis provides an accurate representation of what is occurring at the pump. By analyzing the downhole card, users can easily identify pumped-off wells and gas interference to make optimal adjustments to the rod pump controller. Through proper monitoring of submersible pumps and their interaction with the reservoir, pump life can be dramatically increased. Root causes of failures can be systematically identified, so that new installations can be designed to alleviate those problems. The system designed for your application can collect and analyze information needed to discover inappropriate operations of ESP wells. Monitoring amperage usage can indicate potential problems that are occurring at the pump level. ![]() Our systems can provide the ability to improve efficiency of progressing cavity pumps by accurately monitoring the pump and controlling the operations from a remote site. It allows the user to identify problems as they occur, assess problems, and even predict future problems. The software can monitor and create trends for the speed of the drive, the torque applied to the rod string, and the amount of electricity used by the system. The trends are updated in real-time and soft alarms are generated when the values fall outside the set limits. This allows operators to immediately identify problem wells and take corrective action before any problem leads to a serious failure. Monitoring plunger lift wells provides the ability to improve efficiency of the plunger lift system by accurately monitoring the status and operational parameters of the controller. This allows the user to identify problems as they occur, assess problems, and even predict failures to greatly reduce system down time and eliminate unnecessary trips to the well.
Our systems can provide the ability to accurately monitor and control gas lift wells to allow the user to remotely change parameters used for heading detection, shutdown/restart, analog scaling and PID. Software can be setup to maintain detailed history of parameter changes that can be used to determine the best operating conditions for the well. This setup can provide the user with the capability to accurately analyze and optimize the efficiency of gas lift production systems or naturally flowing wells. The costs of these systems will payout in very short periods of time. If these setups were included in the AFE to drill the wells, the cost would be a miniscule part of the drilling and completion cost and then you are setup with the remote monitoring capability for the life of the well. Give us a call and let us show you how we can help you greatly enhance the productivity of your wells and reduce lifting cost at the same time.Back to September 2004 Newsletter |
